AIMS Choral Festival 2018
The School Choir were awarded a score of 91 and 1st place for their fantastic performance in the Senior Chorus competition during the AIMS Choral Festival in New Ross this year. They performed two contrasting pieces, one of which had to be from a musical and chose “America” from West Side Story and “The Sound of Silence” by Simon and Garfunkel.
There was great excitement on the bus to Kennedy Park and in delivering two trophies back to the school. A special thanks to Ms. Kehoe and Mr. Clancy for accompanying the choir and a huge well done to all the Choir members who showed great commitment and dedication throughout the year.
