Well done to our Senior Cross-Country team on winning team silver medals at the All Ireland Schools Cross Country held in Dublin on Saturday 7th of March. The girls battled very hard in challenging conditions and were rewarded for their efforts.
The Senior Cross-Country team retained their title at the Munster Schools Cross Country event held in Clarecastle on February 13th. The girls ran exceptionally well in very challenging conditions. With two runners in the top 12 (Tara 8th and Emma 12th) and the rest of the team members packed tightly the team finished 3 points ahead of 2nd placed Loreto Fermoy with Waterpark in 3rd.
Muireann Duffin ran a great race in the minor girl’s race, finishing 12th and qualified to participate in the All Ireland Schools Cross Country in Santry on March 7th

East Munster Schools Cross Country
Well done to all our athletes who competed in the East Munster Schools Cross Country on Friday 31st of December. Muireann Duggan (1st) and Eabha Lynch (2nd) qualified individually for the Munster event. Our senior team retained the team title and look forward to another good performance in the Munster Schools Cross Country on February 13th in Ennis, Co. Clare. Very best of luck.
