This school received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a consequence, as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU.
This funding was used to support the expansion of capacity and opportunity for STEAM subjects and projects, for example, Junior Cycle and TY Computer and Coding classes, Leaving Cert PE and Career Guidance. This additional funding has also been instrumental in supporting the CBA process. Upgrading existing computing devices and equipping two additional rooms has been a key feature of our Digital Learning Plan.
