Concours du mois de la Francophonie
In celebration of le mois de la Francophonie in March, AMOPA ran a competition based on the works of the celebrated French author Philippe Claudel. As part of the competition, students had to create a graphic work based on a Claudel novel or film. Several fifth year students decided to enter and they created many interesting and creative entries. To our great delight, Eimear Hearne won the competition, Aoife White came second and Zemane Fazliu came third. The winner will have lunch at the embassy of the French Ambassador sometime in May and will also receive a signed copy of a Claudel novel as well as a film, medal and certificate. Second and Third place will also receive a signed copy of a Claudel novel and a film along with a certificate.
