Multicultural Week 2018
St.Angela’s has been celebrating our Multicultural Week starting this Monday 12th. Throughout the month, fourth year students have been industriously researching and preparing presentations on a huge collection of countries and cultures from around the world, many of which are represented by students attending St.Angela’s.
The highlight of the week was the Multicultural Week Gathering on Friday. This all-day event was hosted by in the Brescia Library and attended by all students in the school throughout the day. The students voted for the best cultural presentation, with the winning group being the Nigeria team.
The Gathering featured poster presentations, talks, traditional garb, food, music and other cultural symbols from all of the countries and cultures represented. This included a lunchtime interval for a fashion and dance demonstration.
